Saw this headline and just had to add to my list:

Where the hell have I been?
This little gem has been occupying quite a bit of my time of late...well, that and the NCAA tournament. I've been working on this design concept for a few weeks...for free...in hopes that we would earn the design commission. We were competing against some big names. Some of these names were very familiar to me because I read about them in school in text books. Sure, it was a long shot. I gave it my best effort. I tried to boil the project down to its bare bones in only one drawing. I tried to identify all the problem areas to show that we have a grasp on the details of the project. Try as I may...they awarded us the job anyway!
We found out this afternoon.
It sure is nice to know that I'm chained to a drafting table for the next few months...not to mention they also want us to build the darn thing. Tonight I think I'll drink a toast...Molly and Tess might even get bones!
Legal Disclaimer: If you think it might be a good idea to take Molly's bone and you have never done it before, you might want to warm up by stealing one from Tess first. Or, maybe you prefer to live on the edge...

I've lost my focus
Every now and again I snap a picture I wish I could go back and take again. When I took this one, I knew it would be a winner. It was not to be. Fear not...I have a sneaking suspicion that one day very soon I'll get a second chance at this one. It seems the Tess likes to jump high and jump often...especially when there is a ball involved.
