How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? I haven't a clue...but I do know how long it takes to get to the center of a duck dummy. Three years. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? I haven't a clue...but I do know how long it takes to get to the center of a duck dummy. Three years. Those decoys are great! When Cooper was a pup, we got him a stuffed duck. It was his favorite toy and he'd walk all over the house with it in his mouth. He bit the head off, and that was the end of that. Now he gets rawhide retriever sticks like Molly's!
