America's most miserable dog

If she only knew that I was trying to help her when I pin her down to administer the mind control ear drops prescribed by her vet.

Bless her miserable heart. Ear drops are the worst.

Poor Tess... Can that affect all dogs or is that a golden thing?

Kris- I've got a Nikon D70. Too much camera for me, but I've never regretted getting it. Posing? Heck no. Those dogs live in a constant state of photo-readiness.

Burg- Its not a Golden thing as much as it is a floppy eared dog thing. It hasn't stopped raining for the past 3 weeks. Moisture + big ears = infection. During the warm months, I give them preventative ear drops a couple times a week. I'm a bad pet owner for not doing it all year. But it sure is fun to watch Tess run into walls because her equilibrium is off.

Great picture!

My male dog, Butch, occasionally gets an ear infection. My female lab, Kadi, has never had one (knock on wood). I've always wondered if Kadi's ears stay in good shape because Butch licks them clean once or twice a week. Gak! Come to think of it, Butch has never had an infection on any part of his own body he can reach with his magic tongue.
