Red, White,Blue...

...John Deere Green and a new color I've invented called Golden Butthead.

Y'all have a fun and safe holiday. Take some time to think about the sacrifices made over the last 230 years that allow us to have this special day with family and friends.

Now, for Adam's handy dandy Fourth of July primer:
  1. Keep the beer cold.
  2. Keep the charcoal hot.
  3. A "dud" is only a trip to the emergency room waiting to happen.
  4. If hot dogs are on your menu...try wrapping them in bacon before they hit the grill. Mmmm, bacon.
  5. If corn on the cob is there, don't feed it to your dogs. Please? A more seasoned backyard chef would recommend smearing the cob with mayo and then a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
  6. Never, ever poke a Johnsonville brat. Use tongs...have you not listened to all the commercials?

Hot dogs are fatty enough - you gotta add bacon?

Not that I don't love me some bacon but not with other meat products.

While I have had bacon-wrapped chicken and bacon-wrapped steak, I have never heard of hot dogs wrapped in bacon. Hmmm, can't ever have too much fat, huh? Sounds interesting.

Is it just the picture, or are her ears really that big?

Hot dogs wrapped in bacon- my arteries are hardening as I ponder the thought..

You're trying to give us all a cardiac arrest aren't you?

sounds like I am out numbered here, but I think the hot dogs in bacon sound wonderful, along with the rest of the menu! It is 8:45 in the morning and I am ready for another cookout! The picture is adorable and I cant wait to find that new "color" on a crayon. :)

Sorry - comment unrelated to current post - What was the name of the smoky bar in Lubbock? Was it Fat Dawgs?

OK...let's lay off a poor dog going through her "awkward" stage. Y'all are mean!
